# Inconsistent Comment Counts On Posts

 * While going back through some of my older posts, I just realized that the comment
   count that shows up in the meta data and in my Dashboard when viewing posts is
   often inaccurate. Many of them show zero comments even when they have comments.
   I searched the forums and found a hack for functions.php, but it didn’t solve
   the problem.
 * Any ideas?
