    I have been handed an old v1.5.2 implementation of wordpress and need to upgrade it to 2.0.3

    The upgrade page lists 1.5.2 -> 2.0.3 as a possible upgrade path and provides a link to detailed info.

    When I follow the link, the upgrade path is then:
    1.5.x -> 2.0.2. Later on in the document, it then
    brings you from 2.0.2 -> 2.0.3

    But… the download page only has version 2.0.3 ????

    where can I get 2.0.2?

    Is the documentation just wrong? OK, well obviously
    the documentation is wrong, either at the top or
    in the body, I guess the question is: which part is

    can I go 1.5.2 -> 2.0.3?

    do I have to go 1.5.2 -> 2.0.2 -> 2.0.3

    Thanks for any help you might be able to offer in clearing this up.

  • I think it’s indeed a typo in the documentation. It says Detailed Upgrade Instructions for 1.5.x to 2.0.2 and 2.0 to 2.0.2 but if you look at some of the steps they talk about version 2.0.3.

    The upgrade path from 1.5.x to 2.0.2 or 2.0.3 should be identical though, so you can just follow those directions.

    Edit: I just changed the upgrade documentation to use 2.0.3 consistently, which should make it more clear to others.

    Thanks Nazgul, I appreciate the clarification!
