 * I got an extremely fast, thorough, and helpful support response to a review I
   wrote (Not my intention). Turns out I need the Pro version to do what I was trying
   to do. I expect to be at that Pro level in the future and I will certainly buy
   it then. Such customer service and support is invaluable. Thank you.

 * To clarify my prior reply, that’s how to set the calendar as your home page.
 * Rereading your question, if you’re wanting to embed the yoursite.com/events calendar(
   which is technically a custom post type archive view, not a page), then you would
   need our [Events Calendar PRO](http://m.tri.be/k0) upgrade to get our [widgets](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase-tag/widgets/)
   and [shortcodes](https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase-tag/shortcodes/).
