Incomplete import pages and posts form old website

    Hello,

    I must import all pages, posts and media from an old WordPress website (about 100 pages and 230 posts) to a new WordPress website.

    I exported the xml file from the old website (2.9MB, and it looks to be complete). When I import the xml to the new website, only 3 pages and 0 posts are imported.

    The media files are successfully imported. The only error messages U see are with the importation of CookiesYes data.

    Any idea why the pages and posts are incomplete?

    Media files are stored in the upload folder. All your post are stored in the database of your site. The safest way to do this is with a plugin that will export the data and import it back into your current site. There are several in the plugin directory. Must are free to install but charge a fee to export it into the new site.
