    In the admin dashboard, the text in the custom Sidebar widgets does not display in the editor and cannot be edited.

    Hey @mlindi,

    Hope you’re well.

    I couldn’t see any problem with 4.9. I tried custom widgets with default widgets, are you talking about any custom widget? Maybe there is a plugin conflict, can you make a plugin conflict test? You just need to deactivate all the plugins except Custom Sidebars and trying again.

    I uninstalled the plugin and re-installed it. Seems fine now.
