 * Hi, I use reusable blocks and I thought that I could hide/show every specific
   instance of that block, but it automatically hides/shows all instances of the
   reusable blocks. I guess this is an incompatibility, or else maybe you can look
   into it and check if this can be fixed.
 * The page I need help with: _[[log in](https://login.wordpress.org/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fwordpress.org%2Fsupport%2Ftopic%2Fincompatible-with-resuable-blocks%2F%3Foutput_format%3Dmd&locale=en_US)

 * Hi [@wiessanders](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wiessanders/),
 * Just want to make sure I am understanding correctly.
 * You have a reusable block and you have applied visibility conditions to it. You
   want to show/hide a specific instance of the reusable block, but when the settings
   are applied, they are showing/hiding ALL instances of the reusable block, which
   is not what you want. Is that correct?
 * If the above is the case, the the plugin is working correctly. In WordPress,
   reusable blocks are treated as a single block, even though they are in different
   places. Any change made to one impacts other instances of the same block.
 * To achieve the functionality that you are looking for, one solution is to “wrap”
   the reusable block in a group block, then apply the visibility settings to the
   group block. Showing/hiding the group block will show/hide any blocks inside
   of it.
 * Let me know if I can answer any additional questions.
 * Best,
    Nick

 * Hi [@wiessanders](https://wordpress.org/support/users/wiessanders/), since I
   believe the plugin is working as intended, I am going to mark this as resolved.
   But if you have any additional questions, feel free to open another support ticket
   and I would be happy to help.
 * Best,
    Nick
