• I’m using the iThemes Security plugin to protect my site. It works fine by itself.
I activated WP Tao 1.2 and got to the Settings page, but trying to save the settings (to not track Admin), the security plugin locked me out of my site.
I renamed the security plugin folder and I was able to view the WP Tao results page which showed that I had two users on my site besides me.
But any time I had both plugins active, I was locked out. I’m not sure if my users were locked out also.

    Hi Joy,

I tried to reproduce your problem, but with default options of iThemes Security, everything works fine. Maybe you should try manipulate some settings of iThemes Security? Did you try with defaults?

No, I shouldn’t have to change my working setup in order to try your plugin. As I said, it has been working fine the way I have it, and all I did was activate WP Tao and had a problem.
I removed WP Tao and tried WP Slimstat and have had more success. There still seems to be a problem, so I do suspect iThemes Security, but couldn’t get very far with WP Tao at all.

    Hi Joy,

Have you tried post this issue on iThemes Security support? I think it is a little better place, because the plugin authors better know their security mechanism and can faster diagnose the issue.
