incompatibility with requirement plugins

Hello,
when a requirement plugin is installed (I tested https://wordpress.org/plugins/required-fields/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-type-requirements-checklist/), the “required feature image” from these plugin do not work. D&D Featured Image just prevent these plugins to see that a featured image exists.
