• Salaam Mustafiz,

I am using the plugin (theme) – Oxygen Site builder. This is very similar to page builder plugins/themes such as Divi or Beaver Builder.

The page allows me to add shortcodes from within the Oxygen page editor. I have used this with Contact Form 7 plugin as well and using the shortcode does not introduce this issue so something specific to this plugin is causing this.

I have tried contacting the Oxygen developer and they told me to reach out to the plugin dev.

    The issue is that:

    http://fantastic-cowfish.w6.wpsandbox.pro/home-test/
    http://fantastic-cowfish.w6.wpsandbox.pro/new-bug-test-page/

I am using an inner content and apply padding to the top. The page where the plugin displays the prayer timetable it restructures the HTML. Specifically

    <div id="inner_content-30-11" class="ct-inner-content">

On the Home page, you can see the padding is being applied to the content. However, on the bug test page with the prayer timetable the div for some reason has gone to the top of the page directly under the body tag.

Do you know what’s causing this? I have provided a one-click login to the WordPress for debugging.

    Regards,
    Jawad

    SubhanAllah!

there is nothing to do with this plugin.

I just played around with your oxygen builder and manged to get rid of the top padding.

    Hope that is OK.

    Mustafiz.

    Wa salaam,

Jzk khairan for your investigation. Apologies, I think there is a bit of misunderstanding, I applied the padding so that the issue was clear. Please check the below screenshot, in’sha’Allah it is more clear:

    1) Home page (no issue)

    2) Prayer timetable page (issue appears)

Only when prayer shortcode is on the page the issue appears – for some reason the inner-content div get pushed to the top of the HTML body when timetable shortcode is used. I have checked with oxygen dev, and they asked me to check with the plugin dev.

    Salam,

Sincere apology for my dull brain, I still don’t understand the problem.
I just created a new page,

    http://fantastic-cowfish.w6.wpsandbox.pro/monthly-prayer-mustafiz/

And it looks OK to me.

Can you please explain again 🙁

    Wa Salaam,

Sorry for that, I should perhaps explain the structure of the page first.

If you go to Oxygen > Templates > Main

The reason your page cannot see the issue is because it is using Template “Default” – if you apply Template “Main” with the padding then the issue will appear.

So when the shortcode for the page is dropped –>

You can see that the Inner Content has now gone to the top of the page ABOVE the header. The timetable has been injected below the header.

The structure should be Header –> Inner Content –> Timetable –> Footer

But instead it is rearranged Inner Content –> Header –> Timetable –> Footer

Does this help? Please let me know, if not I will do a screen-recording for you 🙂

    Salaam brother,

I am not able find the issue,
Basically this is the skeleton for that page,

    http://fantastic-cowfish.w6.wpsandbox.pro/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php?file=daily-prayer-time-for-mosques%2FModels%2FMonthlyShortCode.php&plugin=daily-prayer-time-for-mosques%2Fdaily-prayer-time.php

    Once the ajax is triggered, it updates the jQuery('#monthlyTimetable').html(response);

and here is the table to be updated in that place,
    http://fantastic-cowfish.w6.wpsandbox.pro/wp-admin/plugin-editor.php?file=daily-prayer-time-for-mosques%2FViews%2FMonthlyTimetablePrinter.php&plugin=daily-prayer-time-for-mosques%2Fdaily-prayer-time.php

If you can find the reason, let me know, I will update the plugin.
Also, can you verify with other builder if the same thing happens.
It may be the way oxygen handles ajax request, not sure

    Really sorry for this issue.

The other way to use it, not to use oxygen for this page and and add extra padding on top of this ID.

    Mustafiz.
