after a migration to Joomla 2.5 website, instead of using some J2.5 plugin to add a full blog functionality, I preferred embedding a full WordPress installation into a Wrapper.

the Joomla website is installed in a “../j/” subdirectory, and wordpress is installed in a “../wp/” separate one (all in the same domain).

    The result is: here

Everything works quite fine, but I’d like that the ‘home’ blog button (or any other custom menu item) reloads the parent website, and not the blog homepage in the iframe…
I tried modifying the “website URL” and “wordpress URL” parameters, but everything messes up…

I think that I’ll have to tweak in some way the WP code, so here I am in this forum.
At first I’d like to know if it’s possible in some way, so I can focus my searches.
Secondly, are there better techniques to embed wp in a foreign iframe?

In wp install, go to Appearance → Menus, create a custom menu and add a custom link (link to your site URL (the one running on Joomla). Call it Home. Here’s a screenshot

    thank you Media X

I already tried this solution, but the result is that a new copy of the website homepage appears inside the iframe, instead of a global reload of the website…
    and this is the effect

    Maybe what I’m looking for isn’t possible… I’d just like to know…
