Including WordPress in ApacheFriends? (3 posts)

Installing WordPress is a breeze. Although it didn't take me five minutes it was still really easy and now a week later I have a highly successful and well-trafficked site. But I think that WordPress would get an even bigger audience if it was bundled with a distribution like http://www.apachefriends.org/en/, which itself is widely used and really easy to install. Wouldn't it be neat if Apache Friends came with WordPress ready to use right out of the box? The reason is that - shameful as it is to admit - I knew about a number of blogging tools but clueless as I was I had never heard of Word Press. Neither did I realize that it simply is the best blogging tool around.
Is anyone working on widening the distribution by making it part of popular bundles like Apache Friends? ? Is this a good idea? Opinions?

TSW is a WAMP that has made wordpress available as a "plugin".
The other WAMPs can include wordpress too, no problems there :)

I use xp home and I know xp pro has IIS issues with xampp, but it's a neat way to play with everything.
