I’m including a site’s robots.txt file using the “Additional URLs” setting. However the sitemap URL is not being rewritten. Perhaps you could add a hook at the beginning of the extract_and_update_urls function, so unsupported file types could be handled?

Thank you for adding this issue to GitHub. However, this issue has since been marked as resolved in GitHub, and you left a comment: “We fixed that now with #67 and #62“. However, I just tested with v2.2.3, and the issue has not been fixed.
