Including other posts

I want to put a bio on every page, one thought was to have a post with that information and having that page pulled in to the post.
That is how I did it with xowiki, is there another way?

I know that users have profiles, but I can’t seem to get them to show up, that would be fine also.

If I need to hack the template that is fine.
