    Hi guys,

    Just wondering if it’s possible to include the delivery date within a subject line of email notifications like ‘processing order’, ‘new order’ etc.?

    I am using email customer to create my notifications, but unfortunately as it’s a third-party plugin it doesn’t look like it pulls in the custom delivery date field into the order details.

    I thought the subject line might be able to possibly show the delivery date? I got it to show the date the order was made, but need the date the delivery is being made.

    Thanks.

  • Hi @melbourneman1986,

    This is currently not possible with the help of a setting but we do provide a function in our plugin which can be used to obtain the selected Delivery Date information for any particular order. The function is as follows:

    orddd_lite_get_order_delivery_date(): To obtain Delivery Date information for any particular order.

    Attaching a sample example for your convenience

    $order_id = 123; /*sample order ID*/
    $orddd_class = new orddd_common();
    $delivery_date = $orddd_class->orddd_get_order_delivery_date($order_id);

    Parameters:
    $order_id – This contains the order id for which delivery date is obtained.

    Please let me know if you have any further queries.

    Regards,
    Dhara Shah
