Hi there, I’m looking at this plugin before installing it on a client’s site, and I’m wondering why you’ve included the entirety of the Health Check Plugin inside your own plugin? At a cursory glance, it looks like you spin up the plugin in the constructor, but it’s never utilized. This seems like an easy way for the included plugin to get out of date, and potentially create conflicts with someone who’s already installed the Health Check Plugin at a different version.

Hi there, thanks for the message. We are using those functions for our “Support” tab of SSA to help with troubleshooting. We have made some modifications and also changed class names to avoid any conflict. We’ve made enough modifications that we will be maintaining it separately and adding SSA-specific health checks (checking our database tables, notification system, etc.) into our Support tab. The code inside Health Check was a good starting point for us, but we will be taking it a slightly different direction in the future.

    Thanks,
    Nathan
