Include grouped product in breadcrumbs

Hiya!

I am developing a website with my own custom theme. I am using WooCommerce’s breadcrumbs, and would like to include a products parent (the grouped product) in the breadcrumb path.

I have a grouped product, let’s call it “Bookshelf”. The product “Short bookshelf” has “Bookshelf” linked as its parent product. I’ve done this by going to “linked products” and chosen “Bookshelf” as “grouping”. The only way to get to “Short bookshelf” is to select it on the “Bookshelf” product page. So once I’m viewing the “Short bookshelf” I’d like a quick way back – the breadcrumbs.

Currently the breadcrumbs show:
Home / Category / Short bookshelf

I want it to look like:
Home / Category / Bookshelf / Short bookshelf

Any help would be appreciated!
