    Hey!

My website has authors, who can publish post, add products to Woocommerce and create a profile page. The profile pages are author pages, created with this method https://codex.wordpress.org/Author_Templates

I edited it so that the author page shows the author’s name, posts and products that they have published and a bunch of extra stuff added with ACF (short and long description, profile picture, websites etc).

I’m using the plugin but I’m not getting any search results that would link to the author page. I tried searching with author names and stuff that they have written in their profiles (the ACF fields). Is it possible to find these author pages with the search?

You need Relevanssi Premium to include the author pages in the search results.

I bought it and it seems to work, thanks for the great plugin!

One question though. Now it shows the author bio as an excerpt in the search results. How could I remove that? If possible, I’d like to replace it with something that I created with ACF, or just have a static text “Author profile” there as a description.

That would be up to your search results template. You have to adjust your search results template so that different content is shown for users. You can recognise users from their post type, which is “user”.
