Include Ads in multiple Categories where the Category is not in the slug

    Can you confirm that using this plugin, we can target ads to Categories even though our Permalink structure is /postname/ please?

    the use case would be — targeting an ad into multiple categories and having it display in the widget area on all Posts within those Categories, even though the slug of the Posts will not include any Category-related URL “hint” about which Category this Post is in.

    Yes, category list uses internal WP get_the_category() function to get post category.

    However, this works mainly inside posts – content / paragraphs.

    In widgets it is not always known which is current post/category – it depends on the theme implementation. Please check.
