• I just read this post one month ago (see below). I wanted to check on this. Any updates so far, Marcus? I desperately need to add “address” to the booking form (Street, Zip code, city). Is this possible?

Besides this, events manager is a really great plugin!!! (I just updated from v3 to v4 today, huge improvements – Thanks a lot for your work!)

    Here’s the quote:

    Hi guys,

Does anyone know, or have any advice on being able to add additional fields at the booking stage? I'd like to perhaps add an additional field or two underneath where it asks for the bookers phone number.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

    Cheers

    Steve

  • did you try working on the templates like the bookingform.php

No, I didn’t. But is this possible since the data is stored in the user (pro)file??

I mean it’s fine adding fields in bookingform.php (even though I have no idea how to do this, I am not a coder at all). But where do they store the information? And it needs to be included in the sent confirmation mails as well…

    And then:

I want some events where users MUST fill in their address and some events that are for free where they don’t have to. So it should be flexible for each event. (I guess I am not the only one who want that feature 🙂 )

I’ve just released a beta of a customizable booking form to pro users (will remain pro). the end result will be that you can modify the fields that the form shows, add some that go into registration (or booking info) as well as attendee info.

Hmm, too bad.. I can’t afford “pro”. Will this some day be available in the standard plugin as well?

nope, sorry, you could still modify the form if you can code, bt can’t help there.

Well.. I am not a coder and I am only a student. So I guess that’s too bad for me 🙁 Thanks for the reply anyways
