 * After days of headaches, & I finally run into this awesome plugin. 🙂
 * was just wondering though, is it possible if we could have an ‘include’ option
   that would display selected sites via the same use of a shortcode or widget?
 * I think it’s useful when display a handful number of sites from a huge available
   number..

 * Good idea. I think that would probably be best as a fork of this plugin that 
   acts more as a “featured sites” widget/shortcode instead of an index that shows
   most sites on a network. The presence of both include and exclude options in 
   this plugin is probably too confusing for the benefits they provide since that
   starts to become a different use case.
 * If you’re still looking for a solution here and need help forking the plugin,
   please let me know and I can try making a featured site list plugin based on 
   this idea when I have time.
