Inaccurate Info in Codex Concerning Link Categories

  • Is it possible to create a hierarchy for the link categories? I see how to do it with post categories and page categories, but don’t see a similar option for the LINK categories.

The codex says “Each Link Category may be assigned to a Link Category Parent so that you may set up a hierarchy within the Category structure.”

I very much would like this to be the case, but unfortunately think it’s just misinformation in the Codex.

What I’d like to do is create an easily navigable page of all of my external links, which would essentially be a Resource Page for my readers. Any suggestions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much,
    Wendy
