Inaccurate Category Listing Count

    When displaying the categories on the listing page, the count for the listings is completely inaccurate. Draft/Pending listings are being counted. Where are the other additional listings counts coming from?

    It’s very unprofessional to say that you have several listings and then open the category to find that nothing meets the search criteria or there’s one listing.

    Hi,

    It seems to be ok when checked with a fresh WP installation and HivePress. You can also test this on the ListingHive demo site, please login with demo/demo credentials and switch status for one of the listings (via the Hide/Unhide button – it sets the Draft/Publish status) and refresh the Home page to check if the category count changes. I recommend disabling third-party plugins (in case it’s a caching issue) and customizations (if there are any).

    If you believe that this plugin is buggy and unprofessional please consider using a different one that meets your requirements, e.g. uListing, GeoDirectory, Directorist (all available on the WordPress.org repository). We’re a small team developing & supporting open-source software 24/7 so we’ll have to ignore any further messages nagging the developers, demanding urgent fixes/features and bug reports without the details for reproducing them.
