Inaccessibe for client IP after some time

    Hi,

    I’m trying to track down the cause of a really weird behaviour: After browsing the admin console for some time, the site becomes slow and eventually inaccessible (can still ping the server and resulve the URL, though). As soon as I renew the client’s public IP, the site becomes accessible again. So it seems access becomes blocked per IP for some reason. I did some searching, but couldn’t find anything on the net.

    Can anybody help?

    Are you using some sort of security plugin? What is the web host? Have you reached out to them to see what the issue might be? If your not using a WordPress security plugin, I would most certainly reach out to your host as this is not a default WordPress behavior.

    No, not using any plugin that is supposed to restrict access. The host is goneo.de. The only feedback from them so far was that the site loads perfectly. However I found out the problem only seems to occur when I log in to the admin console.
