• Greetings WordPress. I’m brand-red-bunned-spanking new to WordPress.com.

Here is my plan. I wish to have two WordPresses at my site, TonyTeofilo.com.

The first page, I wish to be an image of two doors. One that says “The Personal”. One that says “The Professional.” I would like to have the personal stuff password protected, because business people can bugger off when it comes to what I do outside of work hours.

But the professional pages will show examples of my published writing, little movies I’ve made. Commercials. My four second appearance on “The Office”. Stuff like that. I would like people to be able to click on either door, and then taken to the appropriate pages.

Now, I’m not asking anyone to do the work for me. And I’m starting to get a handle on things by reading some of the documentation on WordPress.org. But I’m wondering if one of you gurus might know of a cut-to-the-chase method for me to get to what I’m looking to do (outside of hiring a designer, of course). Perhaps there’s a theme that’s already got some of this stuff set up on it?

Is there a book that is on the top of everyone’s reading list? A forum of patient, saintly people who help nOObs like me? Is there a dude or dudette out there who wants to play master to my still-braided code padawan? Or, should I just quit whining and dig into the WordPress poop up to my elbows?

I look forward to getting the perspective of the community.

    Ciao.

    Tony T
