    Good morning,

I created some tables in TablePress by a user with the administrator role of my site. I would like to change the author using a user with the editor role instead, without modify the tables.

Is it possible to make this change?

    Thanks.

    Renato

    Hi,

    Thanks for your question!

Changing the “author” of a table is not directly possible through the user interface at the moment, sorry. (TablePress will however automatically update the “Last modified by” user.)

However, as the “author” of a table doesn’t really mean anything (it has no implications e.g. on access rights, etc.), can you maybe explain why you would like to change this?

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
