    Hi all,

I am using the newest donovan theme for wordpress. In the google results it always shows me a “%” in the link to my website. Can anybody tell me how to get rid of this? It is not in the homepage name and subheadline in the backend.

    Thanks a lot,
    Rudi

    Hi Rudi,

Thanks so much for using Donovan.

Search engines show the title attribute of your website in the search results. The title is controlled by WordPress Core or any SEO plugin like Yoast SEO, if you have installed one.

You have to reconfigure your SEO plugin to change the search results. It is not something the theme controls. Please note that it can take a few weeks until Google updates its results.

    Best,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

you are right! Found the problem. It was Yoast and not the theme. Thanks a lot for your support.

    Best,
    Rudi
