    Hi there,
When in “Responsive” theme settings, in the “footer” tab,
the Social media part works pretty well except the “e-mail” one:
Everything seems to go well if you hover the icon (you can see how it show mailto:myemail@mydomain.com). When clicking, it actually opens a new mail in my mail app, BUT in the address field it shows “http://myemail@mydomain.com”
and this obviously doesn’t work as it is not a proper e-mail address.
How to avoid the http:// in the e-mail address?

I have actually another issue: no typography set-up field does work. but anyway, I could make my way thanks to Elementor and added CSS style.
    Looking forward to a feedback
    Thanks, kind regards

    I found the bug line in inspector: a title=”email” href=”mailto:http://myemail@address.whatever” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener noreferrer”
See how it adds http:// to the email address. Meanwhile you fix it, is there a way I could overwrite it through a css style line?

    Thanks Manishverna,
¿how long will it take to release the new version?

    Hi @ttoomucho

Currently, we are facing issues with WordPress theme review as we have submitted our latest version of the theme as soon as it gets approved we will release it.

    Thank You

Thanks a lot, meanwhile, to sort it out, I did disable the icon, and did use a footer “Custom link” with a mailto: , so now I’m fine with waiting.

The latest release v4.2.1 of the Responsive theme is available on wordpress.org. You should be able to update the theme from the Admin dashboard.
