    Also, the showcase can be very important for promoting WordPress, so I wonder if it is under-funded.

    With proprietary CMS putting so much marketing money into advertising and showcasing, it seems like our showcase could use a design refresh.

    Would it make sense to have commenting for the sites?
    Maybe breaking the ratings into separate categories like: Design / Site structure/ Code quality

    Maybe making a page where some of the sites with the most name-recognition could easily be seen?

    The community could really be brought up by knowing more about what plugins and features are being used by top sites.

    I sincerely hope that does not happen. 😉

    There was previously a section of the forum for posting sites. It was a stunning example of spam sites and the comments were just as bad.
