 * I like the positioning of the photo slider as well as the large photo display
   in itself. It really catches my attention.
 * I think you need to develop your welcome message more. It’s a bit bland right
   now (then again I guess this blog is still under construction?).
 * You can do better with a cleaner, simpler, and probably less grungy-looking font.
   Probably more modern or elegant as it reflects your photography?
 * Also the tweet box and the Google Adsense ad. Both use white background colors.
   It doesn’t blend well to the site. Maybe you can use a lighter grey color.
