# Improvement wishlist

 * I have 2 suggestions for improvement:
 * 1. It would be great to have the required format in the box like in Chrome: dd-
   mm-yyyy, so users know what is expected and can either type or use the dropdown.
 * 2. The Chrome dropdown is automatically translated (in my case in Dutch), while
   the IE version is in English. Don’t know if this fixed easily, but it would be
   an improvement.
 * Overall, this plugin really helped me out already, so any improvement would be
   a bonus. Thanks!

 * I agree with the above comments, any chance of an update please?
 * The field setting I am using is:
 * <p>Start Date (required) dd/mm/yy
    [date* StartDate “dd-mm-yyyy”] </p>
 * specifying a UK date format.
 * With HTML5 in Chrome, it works as expected, but with the datepicker fix installed,
   the default field content is dd-mm-yyyy from the date format, but this plugin
   is expecting the format yyyy-mm-dd. This is confusing for visitors to the website.
 * Can you consider an update to take account of a date format set in the field,
   or if not then prevent the display in the field of dd-mm-yyyy.
