    1. what would you think about automatically detecting (nick)name, e-mail and website for guestbook entries by registered and logged in users?

    2. in the same manner: possibility to change the order and size of the gb-form fields (and even be able to hide them, if wanted) - maybe with the help of a little gb-template that also allows one to change the look of the guestbook-entries.

    3. how about a guestbook that has the same style (& functionality) as the post comments?

    4. how about a possibility for the administrator to comment guestbook entries?

    5. how about hiding the email- and homepage images, if no information is entered?

thanks for your reply in advance. :) hope you're not sad about my suggestions, don't want to be rude or so...

    1.) Good idea
2.) My way was to create an admin interface that is easy to use for everyone. The admin interface is always under construction. Hidding fields and reorganize them by users choice is a nice idea.
3.) A lot of users wants this customise option in this guestbook. My first version did not have a possibility of adapting the fields.
4.)It's possible. You can edit every guestbook entry as administrator. (Manage option)
5.)not yet, but this will implement in the future.

I'm not sad, the DMSGuestbok can only go better with feedback :-)

    Thank you.

    thanks for your reply.

about 4.) but maybe it'd be better if there is a seperated field for comments. if you enter a text: "thanks for this comment." it may appear underneath the comment like: "comment by (username): thanks for this comment."

    one more point

    6. if i enter the confirmation code incorrectly, the code like <br/> is shown in the text-field for the gb-entry. maybe you could prevent this... also this shows that html is allowed inside the guestbook entries - this should be disallowed.

    regards

the hyperlinks (home urls of the commenters) generated on dmsguestbook has no rel='nofollow' parameter and value. thus, the page is penalized by google thinking that the page is part of link farming schemes.

i hope this can be fixed to add that parameter.
