Improve translation performance

I’m debugging a slow WordPress website, and saw this XDebug report from Webgrind:

The majority of the processing is done by translation related functions.

Can we cache and update translation with wp-cron? To avoid such processing in a single page load…

I just decreased the processing time from 11s to 8s by changing my site language from pt-br -> english
