Impression Threshold?

    Would someone mind explaining what Impression Threshold does?

    Does it mean that it only sends data to Google after a product has been viewed this many amount of times?

    I have a single product eCommerce store and wanted to make sure I’m not screwing up the data.

    Hi Zylai,

    Thank you for contacting us!

    Impression threshold value will send the product impression for all the visible products listed on the home/category/shop page in the division of the value which set for it.

    Example:
    If there are 13 products on the page and if threshold value is set to 6 then it will send the product impression in division of six like,
    1. Product Position 1-6
    2. Product Position 7-12
    3. Product Position 13

    IMP: Send the Impression for all the products at the time of page load in bunches of six.

    This is just an optimization step, it doesn’t change the no of product-impression send to GA.
