Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
The problem here is that your table uses the #colspan#
feature in a few cells, to combine cells.
Unfortunately, the DataTables JavaScript library, which is used for the sorting, does not support sorting in tables with combined cells.
You will have to remove all #colspan#
from the table, to make sorting work.

Tobias
Tobias, thanks! I’m idiot ))) it’s so simple!
Hi,
sure, no problem 🙂 No need to worry 🙂
Best wishes,
Tobias
P.S.: In case you haven’t, please rate TablePress here in the plugin directory. Thanks!
Good morning Tobias.
I wonder if you can help. Your older plugin allowed for sorting the table rows in the back, based on values in a selected column (e.g. name). Unless I am being very dim, I can’t find the sort in the back-end table set up procedure.
Here is a link to the new table with left hand column using numbers. Once I am happy that sort works I will just hide column A.

Hope this can work.

Hi Peter,
sorting in the backend works similar to the frontend now. You can find sort arrows next to the column names, directly above the table input fields on the “Edit” screen.

Tobias
