• On WooCommerce version 10.0.4 we were able to add products to an order directly on the order page and change the price to 0. after updating to 10.1.1 (and 10.1.0) we can’t do it.

As this is something we do often, we had to rollback to keep our process working.

Can you please let us know if this is an issue or a feature of the new versions?

    thanks

Hi, I can confirm that this still happens on different payment methods WHEN APPLYING A COUPON. without coupon it works well

    Thread Starter Adrià López

    (@mrboo)

Tested on a different WooCommerce and happens the same 🙂 so please test it on your sites. Price can’t be edited manually if there’s a coupon on the order. and if you edit the order without coupon and add a coupon, the price changes from the edited price to the original price with the discount from the coupon.

    Hi @mrboo,

Thanks for following up and sharing the additional details, including the screen recording showing the issue. I can see that you’ve been thorough in testing this across different stores.

Have you been able to contact us directly through https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ as previously suggested? That will allow our Happiness Engineers to review this behavior in detail and test it further, especially since it appears to occur when a coupon is applied.

Please include this forum thread’s link and your observations when submitting the ticket so the team can pick up right where we left off.

Bug/issue already shared on github: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/61409

I would love more help from the plugin support here…

    Hi @mrboo,

Thank you for getting back and for the clarification. The issue was escalated internally, but for more direct and specialized support, we referred you to woocommerce.com to open a ticket.

Have you had a chance to create a ticket there, and if so, have you received any response yet?

    Thread Starter Adrià López

    (@mrboo)

I tried but this was the answer: If the issue persists after those troubleshooting steps and it’s specifically with the core WooCommerce plugin (not an extension or theme), you can report it to our developers at the WooCommerce GitHub repository.

    Hi @mrboo,

Thank you for getting back and for the clarification. I’ve reviewed the issue you reported, and I can see that it has already been assigned to the developers — they’re currently looking into it. Please allow them some time to investigate. If they have any questions or updates, they’ll respond directly on the reported issue.

Since the matter has been escalated to GitHub, we’ll also be relying on their feedback. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding while the team works on this.
