Impossible installation

    You could try installing 1.2, then deleting every file except wp-config.php, uploading the 1.3 files and running upgrade.php ?

    I feel your pain. There has to be a better way to install this program. I just don’t get open source attitudes. Why do yo make it so difficult?

    Heh-heh, my 7 year old niece installed WP on my “kids only” computer and she doesn’t even know what “anonymous” means (I think she said learning to tie her shoes was harder). I guess simple really is as simple does because the devs certainly didn’t make it difficult.
    lebyrus: I’ll hit the thread you provided and see what I can see.
