Support » Plugin: Etsy Importer » Imports aren’t being set to the correct status

I’m trying to get this plugin to work because it should accomplish exactly what I need. However, once the products are imported the status isn’t being set correctly. I have about 60 items in my shop and they are all imported but only around 10 of them get set to published and the rest are drafts even though they are available.

I tried to change them to be published but they just change back. I don’t want to disable the feature since it would be nice for the items to be removed once they have been purchased but I can’t seem to get it to set the status correctly no matter how much I try.

Is there anything you can suggest that would fix this?

    Thanks.

Are you setting the status to published, and then running an import again? Or are they switching back right away? I know the plugin does some cron work, which may be triggering the switch back, but the API response would be a big part there.

What’s your store URL, so I can see if I can determine anything from that.

When I change the status to publish I don’t import again but the next day (I think when it tries to retrieve any new items etc) it switches most of them back to draft because it seems to think they aren’t available anymore.

Chiming in quick that I have noticed this, but will be delayed in checking into it as it’s very early morning for me at the exact moment đŸ˜€

Will address it further in the morning when I’m up again.

Definitely managing to recreate what I’ll call “dancing” post statuses, but I’m not managing to pinpoint why exactly. That said, there should be a checkbox setting, below the api/store ID settings, that would prevent checking all this as a whole, which would help keep your WP side sane.

If I tick the checkbox though will new stuff still get added? I guess I can manually remove sold items but I wouldn’t want to re-import every time.

Does this happen to all shops or just with mine? Maybe there is something I need to fix on Etsy?

It would not prevent the import as a whole, it would just stop it from comparing incoming items to existing products in the WordPress site, and changing published status as deemed appropriate.

I believe I need to double check some details and do some testing. If I find there’s changes needing made for everyone, I’ll push up an update for the plugin.
