I’m currently redesigning my WooCommerce website. The live version has been running WooCommerce 2.6.14 while my new staging version is running 3.0.6. I’m about ready to launch the redesign but I first want to sync all of the WooCommerce sales/refunds/users that have continued growing on the live site.
My question is: can I export my 2.6.14 sales data from the live site and safely import it into my 3.0.6 staging site? I know that 3.0 required me to run a “data upgrader” so my concern is the 2.x data will cause a conflict with the 3.x data.
Additionally, when I attempt to sync data from the live site to my staging site, do I need to export the new Users first (who are tied to my WooCommerce sales) or should I export the actual sales first, then export Users?
