importing to wordpad

    The only way I can open WordPress is if I click run/open on the installation. If I click save and try to open it from the file I have saved it to, it comes up in dream weaver and of course I don’t have dream weaver.

    I tried to open it from wordpad but I can’t, again, open it from the file. What can I do?

    I am trying to follow the 5 min. instructions. It says to open the one of the files in wordpad and then save it as something else.

    No. It says open it in a plain text editor. (e.g. like Notepad, not Wordpad!).
    I assume it is about the wp-config-sample.php file which – after editing – should be saved as wp-config.php

    And next time be more specific when you describe your problem. Open “a file” and saving as “something else”… is not helpful.
