  • Hi all, my first post here. Installed WordPress on my private server, and have been playing around with it for a few months.
Well, I began blogging even before I knew what a blog was. And back then there weren’t sofisticated software for us to update our blogs, so what I did was just save them in .txt files, inside a folder, using abbreviated date as filename. E.g. “041217” as December 17th, 2004. In the text file I write down the time, using like “2218: ” for 10:18 PM.
So, my question is that, is it possible to create (or modify) an import script that loads all .txt files in a folder, then timestamps them following that pattern (or one specified by the user).
Hehe, is that asking too much?
    Thanks in advance. =)

I suppose it’s possible, but it may be easier to post normally, using copy/paste and adjusting the time stamp in the post window.
