Importing photos from Moveable Type blog

    I have transfered my Moveable Type 3.2 blog: http://www.pfleghaar.com/sketchblog/ to Word press blog: http://blog.pfleghaar.com/ internally through my Media Temple server. I realized that images past June 2010 do not show up on the archive posts, even though they are there when you click the entry title in the Twenty Ten 1.3 theme. I switched to the WPFolio theme 1.75 and the same thing happens in that you cant see the image show up on the gallery thumbnail pages past June 2010. If I look in the media library, the images only go back to that point, but the post archives go back until the first posting in 2003. How do I easily bulk import those images into the library or is it not that easy?

    I have had to physically go back and re-import each image to each entry to get them into the image library so that they load as thumbnails on the thumbnails page.

    In the post archive the images show up if you click the title of the entry…so far I have only gone back a couple years. Here is an example of a page with no thumbnails:

    as apposed to:

    http://blog.pfleghaar.com/?cat=4

    It must have been some issue with moving the files from my type pad blog to the wp blog which my media temple server did automatically
