• I feel stupid because I cannot find this anywhere…

How do I import the links and catagories from one WordPress blog to another? I am setting up a support site where everyone will have the same basic links (and then be able to add their own), and trying to do set up the links in each individual one will take forever.

    Thanks

I saw that… but was wondering if the solution might be as simple as copying/uploading one file from one WordPress blog to another.

I guess the more simple (?) question might be, “Which files in the ‘wordpress’ folder are the saved links and catagories stored in?”

I have been playing with Blogroll and it does not seem to do what I am wanting done.

I want the links and catagories to be able to be transfered between WordPress blogs. The free Blogroll just is not doing that.

All your data – including your links – are stored in the database. So, there is no file to “copy” over.
However you can always try to export/import the tables (or the content of the tables) containing your links from one DB to another.
