# Importing items with multiple categories

 * I’m importing a portfolio which has categories defined as:
 * Main Category>Subcategory|Main Category>Another Subcategory
 * Import doesn’t appear to honor the delimiter. Any ideas?

 * For this data structure, you should use _Posts have hierarchical (parent/child)
   Categories (i.e. Sports > Golf > Clubs > Putters) > An element in my file contains
   the entire hierarchy (i.e. you have an element with a value = Sports > Golf >
   Clubs > Putters)_ with ‘_Separated by_‘ set to > and ‘_Separate hierarchy groups
