importing HTML Home page into WordPress

    Hi, I have been struggling for 3 weeks now to sort out my inability to import an HTML page into WordPress as the Home page. I have followed all the tutorials on Youtube and also Morten’s but the page loses all its formatting in WordPress.

    If I am following all the steps exactly – I have even tested it, by just copying the code from a new Expression template – copied it straight into WordPress as template and it loses all pics and formatting. I just get black and white version, no formatting, text only.

    Can someone PLEEEEEEEEAAAAASE help me!

    When you say copying all the code, are you also copying the <html>...</html> bits or just the code within the <body>...</body> tags? Then you switch to the HTML tab of the WordPress Post Editor and paste it in?
