# Importing from wordpress.com problem

 * Hi All,
    Have a problem: When I try to import stuff from my wordpress.com blog
   it says this:
 * Before you can upload your import file, you will need to fix the following error:
 * Unable to create directory /home/dubteens/public_html/wp-content/uploads/2009/
   06. Is its parent directory writable by the server?
 * How do I do this?
 * Thanks

 * In the Settings > Miscellaneous, change the upload directory from /wp-content/
   uploads to wp-content/uploads. (Notice there should not be a leading slash / )

 * chmod /wp-content and folders under it to 777
    do import chmod back to 755 for
   security
