Importing from MT

A file I exported from MT, that imports fine into WordPress 1.5.2 is getting the following error in 2.01 (and also in 2.0)

myaccount is my account’s subdirectory on my host
me is my account name

is the warning a clue? it says:
c:myaccountmewp/wp-content/uploads/2006/02/012906movable_theoblogical_6.txt

and there is a missing slash between myaccount and me and wp as well as no // after C:

is this just the message being written, or is it actually trying to do something with that errant path?

If so, where /how is this fixed?
