• I have the following problem and I was wondering whether there was a solution to solve it (perhaps a plugin?).

Our organisation has a group blog. Some of our members also have personal blogs using a variety of different services (mostly WordPress.com and Blogger.com).

I would like to set it up so that when they post something to their personal blog, it also gets posted on our group club – ideally the entire post or, if not, something a long the lines of “<name> has written a new post entitled <title>, go check it out <link>” gets posted.

I assume that all we need to do is monitor the rss feeds with some kind of cron job. This makes me think that perhaps there’s already a solution.

    Any suggestions?

(yes, our members are too lazy/technically illiterate to post in both places 🙂 )

    I guess this isn’t possible then? 🙂

Actually there is away I would check with plug-ins which will take feed posts and then post them on your blog. I can’t remember the one I used a while back for a similar reason but try searching feed to post.

Thanks for the suggestion. Works pretty well despite only officially supporting up to WP v2.3
