Importing date from an XML file

    Hello, I am trying to import a date from an xml file, but my theme imports currently in date format, 11/27/2015.

    In the XML file the data comes in the form below.

    </ link>
    <startOffer> 2015-11-27T11: 10: 44105-03: 00
    </ startOffer>
    <endOffer> 2015-12-31T00: 00: 00000-03: 00
    </ endOffer>

    when I export the data dates are standard.

    I just need the date the other data contained in the above example are irrelevant, is there any way to import the way I need.
