    Could you give me more details as to where you would like to import your contacts?

    Would you like to import email addresses to the Subscription module? I’m afraid that’s not possible. You will have to ask your readers to use the Subscription widget in your sidebar to subscribe to your site.

    Okay thanks for replying. Just to clarify, is it not possible or is just not going to be developed that way by Jetpack? I would much prefer to streamline it and make it easier for my people to be back to normal.

    We’re planning on developing this feature, but we’ll need to make sure that spammers can’t abuse the system first. Nobody wants to see spammers start using Jetpack Subscriptions to send spam; it would be bad for the people being spammed, obviously, but it would also have an impact on the overall efficiency of Jetpack Subscriptions, as some email providers may choose to filter all WordPress.com notification emails if spammers started to use it.
