  • Hello everybody, could any of you propose a solution/process for importing an Atlassian Confluence Wiki v.2.9.2 content into WordPress?

As you have noticed, the Wiki version is very old and will stay so.
Instead of keeping our content with that old Enterprise version, we are considering migration to WordPress.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you,

    Pierre

Does the wiki output an RSS feed?

Thank you for yor reply esmi.

There is what is called an rss feed builder in confluence 2.9.2 so i guess this is it.

I have also an export facilty to html and pdf.

I have never used these so far.

    Well, did a first trial.

After have installed the RSS Importer plugin, I create a RSS feed from the site I wanted to import from.

I opened the RSS link into my browser and got the updated information. Copied/pasted this in a text file and then imported into WordPress using the lmport/RSS option.

It said imported Have fun! but I could not see anything imported.

The import was really quick, almost instant and without errors displayed. I am questioning if this is working or if I missed something? Any idea?

Update. Being new with this, I apparently did not manage how to save the RSS Link content into a text file properly. I have done another trial and what I did was:

open RSS link into my browser. View page source. Save this as text file. Import that text file. Well.. this gave something at least but still it does not look like my initial confluence wiki. I need to check other options I guess then RSS feed…
